The number of visits by itself does not indicate how many potential customers saw the desired offer. People could come to a reference article, look for a job or a product that the company doesn't sell. First, divide the traffic by meaning.

Look at the entrance pages

What pages get visits and what are they looking for? The reader of the general instruction and the buyer on the equipment card are at different stages. For each important page, check the path to service, case and form.

Check compliance

Regions, services, types of facilities and volumes. If a company only works with commercial buildings and the advertising page doesn’t say so, inquiries may not be targeted. If the right people come in but don't write, look for lack of information or form inconvenience.

Check the numbers against reality

Check targets, e-mails and calls. Perhaps leads are greater than the analyst sees, or vice versa – the goal counts attempts. Then select the two or three most important changes.

“Post-effect” will help to link analytics with pages and real queries, and then refine the site. Service: Conversion audit.
